Default Torque setting for strut nuts

Hi,

I did a search and came up with no answer except a link to mkiv.com regarding the torque settings. But I am a little uneasy going with that spec of 27ft/lbs. My dad's LS FSM says to use 43ft/lbs but that's for an LS. I only have the first volume for the SC, so if anyone has the volume for the suspension, can you please tell me what the torque setting is for the 3 nuts on the top?

Thanks

Noting the size of the strut stud, you should be fine with a 43 Ft Lb. torque on the lock nuts. Suggect about 25, then the 43..
