Default lower chassis brace - front or rear

i'm considering on getting a LCB... but should I get the front one first or the rear one first...

keep in mind I have a front TRD strut bar and a rear UGO strut bar currently on my way.

thanks!

Dear Rominl,

I am debating between getting the Tom's rear LCB or Tom's 6 links.

I have done a search but there has been no conclusive answer as to which chassis brace will make the bigger difference. Can all you and all Tom's braces experts please give a consensus answer as to which brace makes a bigger individual difference?

I don't have the budget right now to buy both........

Many thanks.

so according to that message thread, the 6 link is more effective than the rear LCB.

Thanks!

both toms rear pieces are designed to work together, if you use only the six links and dont secure the rear subframe( or crossmember as some would say)to the unibody you will put lots of stress on the joints on the six piece links.. the six piece ties the subframe to each other , the lower brace secures the entire subframe to the unibody to resist any twisting or unwanted movement in the rear

hey ed-using just rear lcb and not the six link should be fine and still an improvement over stock, right?

I've been thinking about getting the toms rear lcb to compliment my trd front lcb and strengthen the rear of chassis.

yes chuck you can do the lcb before the 6piece but they work as a complete unit

I had the same dilemna just a few weeks ago and decided to just do both at the same time instead of only doing it half right. My budget is extremely tight right now with starting a business up out of my own pocket so my car modding funds have been cut drastically, but I still will not only do 1/2 of the equation. If you combine both the 6 link and the Rear LCB you will get the most performance increase obviously.
