Uhhh, no reason
DOesn't matter if its an independant shop or at Lexus, please give me an estimate of what it cost you. It should also help us in the future have a reference thread. Doesn't matter if your in Alaska, Cali, New York or Ghana, please help us get an accurate estimate.

Oh, and feel free to include adding the Tein EDFC into the price.

My Espelir Springs/L-tuned shocks installed at Hennessy Lexus of Gwinnett ran me $430 ( I do get a SELOC discount) so I think its about $500.

No Problem Man, just got quotes friday,

South OC, California...

Clarks House of Suspension: $400 for the coilovers and alignment. After we began to talk, I realized I wouldnt be bringing him the car because he said, "Oh, you want to lower the car, ok, well, if you really want to...." I figured asking about the EDFC was worthless at that point.

Dynamic Motorsports: $200 for the coilovers and $250-300 for the EDFC.

If I wasnt doing the EDFC, then install would be $250 straight out. No alignment mentioned and assumed not included.

I thought coilovers are cheaper to get installed (CS at least) because they don't have to take apart the stock shock assembly to reuse parts.

it doesn't really take that much more effort to disable the system, so it doesn't really contribute the price difference. and a lot of times coilovers could be a bit more expensive coz' people ask for cetain height, and a good shop would put it on, adjust it, drive, put it on the lift, take off wheels, adjust, put wheels back on, drive, etc... taking up more time.

again that's a good shop. some other shops they put it on and you are on your own

I am getting ready to do get CS myself soon and wanted to know if I chose could I keep the stock height or is there an automatic lowering that occurs when putting on this setup.

I read the tein site and it says 1.1 for front and back, are they averaging or something or is that the highest it will go and you can adjust downward from there?

you should be able to adjust it so it's the same as stock height

i know you can do it with the previous generation, i kinda expect the same on the new one

Im paying $250 to have my coilovers installed from a place called Hot Wheels down here. I met the owner the other day and we talked about the GS and Tein's. He complemented my on the Tein purchase and offered a nice discount. He has a 745 white on white 22" Asanti's slammed.

Just found my receipt when I had my L-Tuned shocks and springs installed. I paid 532.56 to have them installed. I guess that was a bit high, but it was my first mod and I did not know what to expect .
