new TRD brake pads impression
#18
Globe,
I got these pads also from Steve b/c my stock ones were worn out. The only bad thing about these is the amount of dust. Out of the box, it didn't seem very dusty. Other then that, they work great. So great in fact that when my mom borrowed my car one time and braked so hard, made the guy behind her swerve and crash into a wall. GREAT PADS!!

after some clarification with Steve, here's the result:
The pads I got are TRD Japan brake pads. The ones listed in the TRD website are older and are discontinued, but some dealers have them in stock still. That's why they're different costs. I'll find out more later.
Thanks again to Steve for clarifying everything. Top quality service! Props to Steve! yay!~

Hi Globe,
Did you use the stock router or you already have the TRD router on the car?

J/k man just messin with ya.
I'm running stock rotors and calipers. Plus if I go any bigger in rotor size the stock 16s won't fit. I'll see if I need to upgrade to Supra TT kit or something in the future when I get bigger wheels.
