Usually about .7 inches . But if they are used they can sag.
If you are getting coilovers that wouldnt really be an issue though.
And yes the SS or any other setups made for the MKIV Supra will work fine .
I have HKS SF5 springs with KYB AGXs specd for the Supra TT, that i bought used. I've had them almost 1 1/2 yrs now, and ive been happy with em. (they are very low and stiff though)

You should educate yourself on the various suspension set-ups that people on here have used with success. It seems like you have a few basic questions that you should find the answers to before plunking down your money. I say this because you say you want to buy coilovers but don't know that Supra and SC's share the same chassis, which you should know prior to purchasing suspension parts.
