My 1995 sc400 drives normally on the average road and highway, buy if the road has uneven surfaces, it will all most pull the wheel out of your hands, was wanting to know if all sc are like this or if I should be checking for worn parts. My sc has 121000 miles Thanks Ron

Suggest you check for worn parts.

Have the rack checked for excessive wear. Along with the steering suspension parts; ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar and it's connections. Lastly, the fronts struts for leaks.

i had that too. When i bought my sc400 in april it had 26,xxx miles and once i put the carbing strut bar, most of it went away.

This is a pretty common issue, the majority of the issue lies in that the steering rack bushings and the lower control arm bushings wear out at about 100k on our cars which causes the steering you are explaining. http://www.tmengineering.net/suspens...n/make/sc.html is an option to fix your probs. i have the steering bushings and it makes a world of a difference.

Mega. I thought you had to do strut tower extentions, also can you recommend where you got yours. The vipsoarer suggestion was right on Thanks

nope, the carbing fit on my car w/ no modification, just that the brake master cylinder stopper doesnt fit. The 97-00 sc300's and all sc400's have different sized master cylinder. I think 92-96 300's would fit, but im not positive.

Mega, checked out the website and the strut bar looks awesome. I still dont understand what a master cyl. stopper is. Also, my car is a 95 sc400 if It wont fit maybe i can get the strut bar alone cheaper. Thanks
