I went with the Eibachs because the pictures I saw were EXACTLY the amount of drop that I wanted. The drop from the Tanabe's was a little too much for me.

I don't see any value in the poll. I doubt anyone will have experience with BOTH sets of springs, so it is really just a poll of how many bought each product.

I got the Eibach's. They are a MUCH larger spring manufacturer, and have a good reputation. Honestly, I doubt Tanabe even manufactures theirs springs.

The Tanabe springs lower the car more than the Eibachs - check out this thread for some sample pictures...

I believe they drop the same..
its just eibach drops 1" front .8" rear... and tanabe drops .8"front and 1"rear.
which stance you prefer? i think the eibach makes it look more aggresive...
but i heard using after market lowerin spring on stock shocks.. would blow the shocks... is everyone runnin their springs on stock shocks?

i debating between these springs and coilovers...

don't they all use the stock shocks when they get just the SPRINGS?? Also how about what shock are we talking about? The standard or sports one? Does anyone here had the shocks promble yet? I hope not...

the drop on the tanabe's look lower in the rear and higher in the front. the eibach drop looks even all the way around. the advertised drop in inches may say otherwise but i'm just saying how it looks with the springs installed. i had eibachs in my last car n wasn't really impressed with them. after a few years the springs started to sag and eventually my car was uneven at all corners.

I would recommend the Tanabe springs. I had Eibach springs on my 1994 Toyota Corolla and had to end up throwing them away, because they continued "settling" the whole time and my car was lower and lower, until I just couldn't functionally drive it anymore I called Eibach about it and they said "our products are for off-road/show use only and not for driving" and didn't do a thing about it, so I just won't buy Eibach anymore.

Why don't you get Road Magnet springs? They cost $200.00 and are the ones that Team Lexus uses for their cars. They are also warrantied for LIFE and Mark Habicht, one of the owners, told me that if you are not happy with something in particular (spring rate, ride height), you just let them know and they will send you a spring that will be more to your liking. You just can't go wrong with that!!
