I think it is funny when people buy sports sedans and want squeakless brakes. Who cares?
Putting that aside, most squeaking is caused by vibration of the brake pad between it and the caliper, not the actual contact on the disc. The "no squeal" goop is applied to the back of the brake pad for this reason. Also, you can put high temp anti-seize on all the part of the pad that contact any part of the caliper (e.g. the little ears that seat against the caliper). This usually works pretty well.
It can also be caused by glazing as an early post said and it is true a few high speed stops will usually get rid of that. However, you also need to change your braking technique to prevent it from happening again.

Has everyone on the board complained about it?
I think any car with metallic pads will have some squeaking if you do a lot of light braking in traffic, etc. Goes with the territory unless you want a non-performance pad that will not stand up to heat but will be nice and quiet.
It is not some kind of design flaw. The brakes I put on my BMW were never offered in the US because they kind of groan under heavy braking and BMW, rightly, didn't want to deal with all of the consumer complaints in the U.S. I would find a backroad you like and go for a nice spirited drive with some heavy, late braking. Drive until they actually fade a little then let them cool. Bet ya the noise will be gone at least for a little while.

I have a similar problem to this except my car is actually a 09 model. I notice that the noise comes from the front right brakes. It only occurs during cold days and it makes a squeaking type of noise when I'm actually accelerating the vehicle. It doesn't make the noise when I press the brakes for some reason and it goes away after a minute or two of driving. Anyone know what's causing this? I'm guessing there's a slight glaze on the brake/rotors.
I'm planning to have the dealership take a look at it. Maybe they can install new brake pads or something.

I jus made a thread about my problem. I Am at the dealer now waiting on my car. My pads are fairly new n I showed them the nasty lip on the rotor n the harsh groves on the surface of he rotor n they are telling me I need new pads But I look on the other is 250's n they don't have the lip on the rotor but the mechanic told me that's how it is supposes to be

My brakes squeal also, and I noticed a goo buildup outside the brake pad on the passenger side. I wonder if the disc brake anti-squeal grease has worked itself out from between the two wear pads... The only way to tell is to remove the pads and re-grease, but I think I'll just wait and do a brake job when the pads are a little more worn. I'm just over 30k
