Like it says, does anybody have pics of a Tom's rear lcb and how it bolts up on a 2nd gen GS? Thanks.

chuckb,
I don't have any pics of mine now, but it's relatively straight forward to install. Basically 4 bolts must be removed and then the brace held in place and the bolts re-installed. So I would have something to support the brace off the ground in the front and back to make it easier to install. I've put mine on, and have removed it for exhaust work and re-installed with no problems. You might need to jack up the gas tank a small amount to get the gas tank straps ( one on each side ) to line up and make the bolt install easier, but that's about it. Depending on your exhaust you may need a washer or two ( fender washers ) between the brace and body members in the rear to make sure you don't rub between the brace and the exhaust. You might want to install when you have less gasoline so the tank is easier to push up if you don't use a jack.

Depends.... Which type Tom's LCB do you have? Open or closed? One is meant to only work with the Tom's exhaust, the other works with most others

If I recall correctly, you want the open version
as the closed version
may hit your exhaust if it isn't Tom's (and /or maybe Apex'i which is designed the same? Potential for faulty memory, you might want to use the search feature to find threads on this topic )

chuckb,
I never had the stock exhaust installed with the Toms rear LCB, so I really can't say.
I have the closed Toms rear LCB and a Carson Tuned Exhaust, and this combo fits. I believe the Toms and Carson Tuned exhausts are similar. Even though my Carson Tuned exhaust has been modified, the resonator section is still the same, and this is where the interference may occur with the closed brace.
