Default Question about SC rear rotors

Should the rear rotor come off the same as the front? Or do I need to remove the large nut in the middle of the rotor in order to remove it?

Nevermind, it finally popped off. I don't think it has ever been removed. I couldn't see the seam where the rotor met the hub. That is why I didn't know if I had to remove the bolt.

Now for another question. Is the drum portion of the rotor for the emergency brake? I have never seen a setup like that.

It is the parking brake. The design was developed by Volvo.
