Well off they went last night, back to the stockers! Well after bleeding the system for about 3 hours I finally gave up. Seems like air got into my abs system over the past 3 days while the car was just sitting there, and I have no idea how to get it out. I have bled brakes before, but it has never been this bad. I have an appointment at a local toyota dealership tomorrow to have them bleed the system, it will cost me about $130. Does anybody know the exact precedure to get the air out of the abs. I searched for a while last night and this morning and I could not find a definite answer. People post too many different things, nothing specific to bleeding the ABS system. I read about some sort of scan tool that needs to be used to bleed the abs, people post about the speedbleeders as well, but I dont know if its worth my time and money to attempt this and still not get the job done. So if anybody knows the exact procedure please chime in and help a brother out!!

It is at Toyota right now, and my pedal better be firm when I get it back. How about the guy tried to sell me pads and rotors along with the brake flush. I told him I wasnt interested just to have him tell me that I should at least get them resurfaced. My pads and rotors are 3 weeks old, and I bet he didnt even look at them before he tried to sell this to me!

Impatiently awaiting your results.

If the opportunity comes up, try a hard brake and feel for any left or right pull on the steering.

Thanks ...
