Default HKS Hyper Damper Coilover

Hi, Everyone, Just receive the HKS coilover today, going to install it tomorrow. I can't wait. The question I have is, I have 19" wheels with 245/35 in front and 275/30 on the back, how low can I go without rubbing? should I have the back lower than the front? I don't want to change or thinking about rubbing when everytime I have passanger on the back seat.

Does anyone have this coilover in their car? how is the ride compare to Tein HA or CS?

Thanks,
George

I have the HKS Hiper Dampers with the same tire setup that you do. The only variable left is the offset of your wheels. What wheels do you have, width and offset? Regardless, You can go pretty low without rubbing. With my current wheels, I am even thinking about going 285 in rear. My rule of thumb, is to leave about "a width of a finger" gap between the tire and the fender. If you offset has the wheel more recessed inward, instead of completely flush with the fender, You can go even lower. If you want, I can get your pictures of my set up with two different offset wheels.

Hi, Will
I have the VolkRacing AV3 with 245/35 front and 275/30 on the back and the offset are +39 on all wheels.
How does the ride when you set on softest or the hardest?

thanks,
George

Hi George,

How much did you pay for them? I just got my HKS Hyper Exhaust. It looks very nice.

George,

Sorry for the late reply, I havent had a chance to be on CL lately. With the 39 offset, you should be fine. MY car rides really good on the either setting, even on the softest, it still handles way better than stock. aol instant message me @ jza8shwoff if you want to discuss more.

On the softest setting could you compare it to stock. If you could also compare it to the L-Tuned shock and spring.
