guys, I was going to do this DIY this weekend, but ended up having some other stuff to do, so I went over to the local shop (Pep Boys) to have them install it. They said their labor manual suggested 5 hrs of labor for this job.
I obviously didn't let them do it, but was wondering if this sounds right?

I had no idea what I was doing - I just followed the DIY directions listed here and I did it in about an hour. A professional mechanic should be able to knock it out in an hour in his sleep

I just did this today but holy crap it was a PITA!
I did the passenger side first, bolted everything back up, went to the drivers side only to find out I have to redo those 3 bolts
took me forever to punch out the top bushing! I ended up taking my long extension and beating the living **** out of it with my mallet and it finally popped out.
then all the paint on the underbody just flaked off and kept on getting on my face.
the return is awesome. for 40bucks, it tremendously cuts the slack in the steering input. could be a tad tighter but maybe i'm asking much...or maybe it's time for the L-Tuned ECU.

All the ECUs practically look the same so its hard to tell if it's the real deal or not. But rest assure, I did feel a difference with them and that was heavier steering. All GS430s I've driven were far lighter. I actually had to use some muscle to turn the steering wheel.

TMEngineering is..... Terrible with customer relations. I ordered 2 weeks ago, nothing's been shipped, no tracking number, no answer to emails, and no direct phone number.... I'd rather've not spent the $100 on bushings and deal with the slop in my 430.... Poor choice on my part by selecting a provider who doesn't care about their customers.
