DIY Daizen Steering Rack Bushing

Well, they are made from the polyurethane so the material hardness is the same. The difference is in the design. The Daizen are just cylinders of material that fill the entire void between the rack mounting hole and the bolts. On the other hand, the Sewell parts have four "lobes" that make full contact but otherwise leave an air space elsewhere. These lobes compress as needed and squeeze into the air space and this is what makes them softer than the Daizen. The Daizen don't have anywhere to squeeze into so they are more rigid.

sorry vince not yet....
i just bought FIGS Moto Trac links and his production versions of the tie rod coupler so when i get all these in i will be taking them to powdercoat along with just the tops of these. look for a update in about 2 weeks i hope
