I searched and found sometimes it was a bolt on, and then sometimes people had problems. I am getting ready to do this upgrade to my new 98 SC4. Can some that are sure, help me with the exact parts.

1. I need LS400 calipers right. What year LS caliper is a direct fit for the 98 SC4 ?

2. I need LS400 Rotors. I want a drilled not slotted Rotors. Whats the best, ( Power Stop ) ?

3. I need LS400 Pads and dust sheilds.

4. I need LS400 front brake lines ?

Anything else, I heard the SC4 bolts will be too long. If I get LS400 bolts will they work ? Anybody know where to get LS400 dust sheild cheap ?

1)95-2000 LS400 calipers.
2)Try OEM Brembo blanks. Saw them on Tirerack.com.
3)Try Satisifed pads, again @ Tirerack.com. There is no use for dust shields. I barely get any dust on my aftermarket wheels.
4)Reuse your SC400 brake lines, they are the same as LS400.
5)You need to use LS400 bolts or you can reuse your SC bolts, although they are about 2 mm too long for the LS400 caliper. You'll have to use spacers to get SC400 caliper bolts to fit the LS400 caliper.
