Yep, I've seen them before and I want a set!
Anyways, heres a link to a site with a better picture of the brakes http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/p...ducts_id/21363

Yep the rears look pretty cool too...anybody have any experience with them? It's just that I want as much stopping power as possible and as people who'd know me, know that I do LOADS of research before I buy anything and well same thing here.
Anybody had a play with a set? Even held it? lol

There are people on here with the 6/4 setup but havent seen anyone with the 8 setup. Are they matching a 4 piston setup on the rear with the 8 piston front? 380mm is huge

I'm running the 6/4 setup and it has plenty of stopping power. More than enough IMHO. That 380mm rotor is hugh and will most definately require 20's for clearance. You might get by with 19's but...
I'm running 18's with the 355mm rotors and have to use a small spacer to get the proper clearance. I will be moving up to 19's soon so I can get rid of the spacer.

TXGS: Thanks for the positive review . I'm on 19's right now and it's a high disk setup in the front ... Veilside Andrew Golt ... The actual page states a minimum requirement of 19" wheels, so 'm hoping these would clear.
Going to get in touch with Rotora to see if they can get me a template. See I need stopping power where I can bring the car to a stop from 200mph. Car will definitely have the power once I'm done, but I know the Supra brakes weren't mean to stop at those kind of speeds hence I'm looking into something that can get the job done over and over.
They are matching the 4 pot 335mm with these, or so I'm hoping. Will email Rotora and see what information I can dig up .
I'm not looking to buy them yet as I've not got $5k for brakes...let alone anything else at the moment, but hopefully next July after I've paid off the car loan. Then comes the fun part! Till then I'll dig up as much information as possible about these and post on this thread .

if you go for the 380mm BBK fronts only, without upgrading the rears ... your braking will suck.
Also, not sure if this is an Aristo-only problem or also a 2ndGenGs issue ... many of the local Aristos with huge BBK kits experienced brake cylinder failure...

good luck with the 8 piston calipers they are over kill durnig any agressive/ driving breaking the gs isnt made for that kind of force in the front hence your gonna break your ball joints if you drive agressively with these 4 piston brakes on your car waste of money in my book

What tires do you have on the car? If stopping is the main goal, tires are a huge component with stopping. As fo the kit, just make sure Rotora has appropriate specs to justify your purchase. Ask what kind of tests they have done with the setup, on the GS. That is a lot of $ to spend on brakes only to find that you bought some great looking brakes that did not meet your performance criteria.
