correcting issue of Eibach's being too low
My friend just installed a set of new Tokicko blue with Eibachs (the one with the 1.25" drop) and the rear of the car looks to be lower then the front now.
This is specially apparant with 2 passengers in the rear seat.
With bigger 18" rims they rub the rear fender.
I've seen alot of posts about people commenting or reviewing springs and saying how the Eibachs dropp it too low, especially in the rear.
Has anyone tried fiing this with out going to a different spring/shock setup.
I've seen shikms/spacers (not sure what the proper name is) for other cars that will raise the spring like 1/4" to 1/2"
they are like giant aluminum washers that fit the base of the shock exactley and retain the shape/form of the base except it's now raise 1/4"
Just wondering if anyone has seen a shim/spacer that fits our shocks.
Also seen aluminum rings that fit the top of the shock that function the same way.
Only option now is to put a shim/spacer in the rear. Or pull the fenders to clear the bigger rims in the rear. But the front of the car looks higher then the rears, which looks wrong.
