Do I need Supra TT brake lines for the Supra TT brake upgrade?

Stupid question, I know; seems as tho my sc400 braided steel lines are 3'' too short in the front ![Frown](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
also, is it fine if i cut off the dust shield/backing plate to make the calipers fit?
any help would be much appreciated..thank you!

If the SC brake lines are too short then use Supra brake lines. I believe they are identical..
Those whom have done the Supra TT brake swap have cut off their dust shields to accommodate the bigger rotor and caliper. You have to cut it or the caliper will not fit over the smaller dust shields.
