Default Suspension Help

I am looking to lower my car about an inch or so and improve the handling. Can i do this with just a spring set like these?

http://www.gripmotorsports.com/pi~pn...C300-3902.html

Or do i also need some shocks like these as well?

http://store.racinglab.com/le92sctohppe.html

I am new to the suspension thing so what should i do? Would these two things improve my handling.

Thanks for the advice!!!

pro kits should lower you a little more than an inch or so, and tokico blues are good stock replacements. prokits were designed to be used with stock shocks so you don't really need to replace them unless you put a lot of miles on them already, but i would replace them regardless.
