Default HKS Hipermax 2 vs. RS

anyone know the difference between the RS and the hipermax 2 coilovers made by HKS, the RS version seems to be new and is about $200 cheaper then the Hipermax 2, both are 30 way adj. whats a better coilover in your opinion? i was thinking of buying the RS but not sure, maybe its worth getting the Hipermax 2 for the extra 200 bucks.

darn good choices. The main difference is the spring rates. There are actually 3 different kinds you can choose from.

HKS Hipermax RS:
Application for a Supra Rates are 10 kg/mm and 7kg/mm

HKS Hipermax II:
Application for Sc300/400 are 12 kg/mm and 6 kg/mm
Application for supra are 14 kg/mm and 6kg/mm

Both are excellent choices, i dont know too much about the difference in the shock. Im guessing the hks hiper II is lighter and it looks cooler. I am actually debating over these two myself. Both will be very soft and ride very well. Deffinately a good choice, and 10x better than tein crap. I would say go for the HKS hipermax 2's for the sc300/400 cause hks specifically designed it for the sc. GL w/ ur choice
