Default Supra TT or LS400 Caliper questions

I read that LS400 are lighter than Supra TT because they are complete aluminum. I have a 92 SC400 and I would like to know if I can get LS400 or Supra TT calipers and do I need the mounting brackets? Can I put them on my STOCK rotors or do I need to get the corresponding rotors to calipers and if I can use my stock wheels on either of them. I also read that I have to cut my dustshield, is this true? Thanks for your help!

NO mounting brackets needed. Direct bolt on. You will need LS rotors to go with LS calipers or supra rotors if you go with TT calipers. Yes, you will have to cut and remove the dust shields..

Will my factory rims fit or do I need LS or TT rims?

You'll need 2.75 inch of clearance from caliper to the inner spoke of the wheel. TT, 95+ LS wheels will do..Use the search function..

You don't have to cut and remove the dust shield, you can do a little pushing and pulling and get it to clear.

If you go with the LS400, don't forget you need to get the shorter LS400 caliper mounting bolts or just use some washers.
