Tein Coil Overs, I'm Confused...
#16
Are we talking about the Tein SS coilover or CS. I believe the CS coilver is 1190 and SS is 870 on the net. As for the Spring, H-tech is around 150 and S-tech is going for 175 on ebay. Some people on craiglist advertised a 25% off on all tein products but pick up only. I'll contact them and let you know if it really a 25% off MSRP.

regardless of which... i prefer the ones that come with upper strut mounts. The SS series requires you to dismount your OEM suspension and re-use the OEM upper strut mounts.
The SS are not direct swap.
CS is direct swap.
The SS are not direct swap.
CS is direct swap.

What does the cs stand for? I'm not seeing that on their site?

TEIN CS is Comfort Sport. It is possible to "Unofficially" order it. Since there is a couple of owners with it. It's supposed to geared more towards smooth ride.
While istuntra is right to a certain extent on the "swapping" of the TEIN CS coilovers, it will still require you to unbolt the top pieces of the OEM suspension in the rear. The front is a direct swap. the Rears are NOT.
I know because I own the CS coilovers.
