Default Lowering springs on a sc400

I tried a search and didn't really find anything to answer my question. I am wondering how hard it is to change out the springs on an sc400. I need my car to go back to stock hieght due to major rubbing issues. I know some of yall have done this yourself and say it isn't hard but my mechanic seems to think it is a huge deal that I can not possibly do myself without professional help. I have had experience changing springs and coilovers, ect. So I would not be a newbie at it, just need to know exactly how hard it is. Thanks a lot.

Welcome to CL

It'd just be like replacing the springs on any other strut, no difference.

It took me 3 hours in my driveway with basic tools...

It can be frustrating if you aren't familiar with how to do it though...

NY, I just wanted to say thanks for that link! I was having some real issues getting some supra tt struts & springs in the front today (after finishing the rears), and although I didn't have time to really begin it, that link is REALLY helpful!
