How many miles do you have on them?

Please do a search. If you do lots of light braking, a glaze can build up on the pads causing the squeeks. Do a couple hard 60-0 stops and it should clear up.

it might be jsut dirt caught inbetween the rotor and the pad. have the dealer clean it out. should be free.

yo i'm not sure, but i've caught my brakes squeel once or twice just backing out of the garage. never under load or anything.

when i took my car in to get a speaker rattle fixed he asked me if i had any squeeking brakes and i said nothing i would worry about.

maybe there is a carwide problem

Could be debris between the pad and rotor. However, if the "problem" is more widespread, I'd say that it's the content of the pads. At one point in time, more metallic content meant longer life, but also more squeeks.

14k miles and no squeaks on my IS350. However, I firmly believe brakes are for the timid and I use them that way. Very few light stops.
