Default Weird question- STI/EVO brembos on our SC's?

http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=142825

got me thinking that we could use the sti calipers/evo rotors on our sc's if they somewhat fit? seems the 240 guys are using a spacer plate to bolt them up.

Think it'd work?

yeah i kinda remember reading this a while back. no, i really doubt it will bolt up. you would need custom brake lines made to match the caliper and the SC. also i think rear brakes are of little importance to stopping power. all the weight transfer is going to the front of the car where the larger caliper is. could be good for drifting if you can setup the ebrake with the caliper. otherwise i dont see too much use of this.

It makes no sense to do this when Supra TT brakes can be purchased for less. Direct bolt in w/ no issues whatsoever. And w/ a nice amount of different pad compounds to choose from.

The Supra calipers are at least "sized" for so w/ the SC in mind, whereas the STI calipers are "sized" for their cars, as they are a smaller and lighter vehicle.
