Default Brakes, Brakes, and more Brakes

2 questions:

First, I replaced my 93 SC300 rear calipers and rotors with those from a 99 SC300. The discs are much bigger. After getting them installed, the e-brake does not hold too well, especially on an incline. Is the central hub where the e-brakes sits bigger in the 99 SC3? It didn't look like it. Would I need new drum shoes? Or can they be readjusted and if so, how does one do that?

Second, I also have the front rotors and calipers from a 99 SC300. I bought the overhaul kit for the brakes... I was looking at the package and I realize I have no idea what to do with them. Can anyone give me a deltailed instructions on how to do it? Or even better, can anyone help me out and overhaul them for me using the kit? Obviously beers and such will be compensation? Someone local hopefully... in NELOC?

Thanks guys.

Sounds like you have the wrong rotors.

lexls.com has an excellent tutorial for rebuilding calipers:
http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/brake/fbcaliper.html
i know you have an SC, but the procedure is identical.

for the e-brake adjustment, align the hole that has a black plug in it (in the photo below, image from lexls.com) on your rear rotor to the 6 o'clock position. you should see the e-brake adjuster. use a screwdriver and incrementally click it (not sure if it's up or down direction) until it is firmly pressed against the inside of the rotor, then back it off 8 clicks. check to see that your e-brake pedal/handle takes 4-6 clicks and gets much harder to depress. with the e-brake engaged, try to manually turn your rear wheel to verify that the e-brake is adjusted properly.
