I'm running these on my 92 SC3 with no issues. I don't remember having any issues with the install either.

You definitely did something wrong, the LS400 brakes are complete bolt on, and I've done many of them.

sounds like the rotors you have are not the correct application. measure the rotors you bought, they should be 315mm / 12.4" in diameter.

Default umm

the rotors might be too big

one thing though, the position of the bolt pattern on the sc did position my calipers more to the upper left in relation to the rotor than depicted in your post. yours ended totally horizontal. there are only two bolt females that it can bolt to or am i missing something.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Tony

try to install just the calipers, leaving the rotors off, it will all make sense then...

Default ???

the rotors are roughly 12 and seven sixteenths" so 12.4, but i can't send pics right now cuz photobucket is f@#@# up right now.

i know the way that it would've bolted, but it wasn't close to the position of yours, it was at 9 o'clock
while yours being at 6 o'clock, or straight vertical, like it is stock on an ls400, but mine are not like, that they're positioned 25-35 degrees higher, clockwise.
it's a 92' first gen. did they make any diff. setups? because the ls caliper bolts to where the bolts go for the pad housing, then, on a stock sc4, the caliper bolts to that. when i can send pics i will, i appreciate the help
