Here is a thread w/ pretty much all the AWDs dropped on the Tanabe NF210s for the IS350.

Each spring is designed specifically for a vehicle taking into consideration the weight of the cars. The IS350 is heavier than the IS250 (especially the front due to the bigger engine) and so the IS350 front springs have a higher spring rate.

If you use IS350 Springs (or in some cases I've seen members use springs designed for the GS which is even heavier with higher spring rates) on the lighter IS250 then you'll have a much stiffer ride then if you used the same brand of springs designed for the IS250

My suggestion is > get the Tanabe springs for the IS250. If you use the IS350 springs your front will be too stiff and you might not like the ride. Also should you have any problems with the spring and complain to Tanabe they will ignore you saying you are using their springs for the wrong application.

Ummm. No. The 4GR-FSE is 2 lbs lighter than the 2GR-FSE according to Lexus's own documentation. It's not the engine. The AWD is the most nose heavy of the lot, and the most overweight for the power available. See chart below. Also, the suspension geometry on the AWD is different than the RWD chassis. It has a completely different front subframe, and there are no major suspension pieces that interchange. It may be pure luck the 350 part works well in the AWD.

So what, if anything, can you suggest us AWDers use to lower our car. The gap is disturbing.

Thanks

If you don't like the gap, and fixing it is most important, do it with springs. Just don't expect it to perform as well as stock. You're compromising some mechanical performance to get the visual performance you seek. Without having custom knuckles built for your car, there's no other way to do this. And custom knuckles would be absurdly expensive.
