I test drove two GS300's the other night. I noticed that whenever I released the brakes after pressing down hard on them, I would alway hear a funny sound coming from the master cylider / ABS module (front left under hood).

It sounded like an actuator pulsing if that makes any sense.

Both of the cars did this...Is this normal??

It's normal to hear that pressurizing sound... when it starts screaming is when your in trouble.

What year did Lexus get rid of this noise?

I've never heard a brake system "talk back" to me in any car I've ever owned. I'd think this would get irritating after a while.
