get a big pair of pliers from home depot, biggest channel locks you can find. I found those to be easier than turning the c clamps 2o times to compress the pistons. while youre doing it, put some silicone paste on the sliders so they dont lock up.

Get a set of LS400 calipers and you can change em in 2 minutes
