Anybody ever though to just drop the front?

Anyone ever thought of it like me? Just replace front springs with something a bit shorter, but still maintain similar spring rates?

I have been wondering the same thing. Currently, I have the sport suspension so I was either thinking to keep the rear sport springs and swap the front w/ NF210. Or use the rear NF210 and use the DF210 fronts....this option may be getting pricey enough to justify getting coilovers.

Any thoughts?

I posted the same question a while back in this thread:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=251847

I ended going with Tein H-techs all around and I'm satisfied with the drop, ride and look, although it could be a tad lower in the front still. Now I think just lowering the front will give the car too much of an aggressive rake and put the front air dam so low that you'd be scraping on everything.

Shorter springs will still have to hold up the same amount of weight at the front of the car, so the spring rates must be higher to compensate.

A lot of engineering and R&D has been done by Lexus to fine tune our suspension, if you're going to modify it, get a set of 4 springs that are designed to match and work on the car. Also I'm not sure if you can just buy 2 front springs as they are always sold as a set of 4 unless you're buying used from someone. You wouldn't save that much money so just get a set.

The OEM sport package lowers the front only. 10mm. Rear ride height stays exactly the same.

Hey if anyone want to get rid of the front Sport Package Springs and replace them with something else let me know and i'll buy them from you. I have 20's on now and don't want to drop it that much in the front so 1/2" would work great for me.
