Effect of spacers on suspension?

It's not just them. I had to replace mine at about 120k with stock tires and wheels for the car's entire life. When I said Achille's heel, I meant even for stock. I hope Toyco has done a better job with the ISx50, but I wouldn't bet on it because warranty on the Supra expired 60k before my bearings failed.
On a track car, they last much less time than this, and everyone who tracks a Supra knows about the wheel bearing issues.

I guess I wouldn't consider anything that lasts 120K to be a significant problem. I've always considered bearings to be somewhat of a wear item anyway. I've replaced at least one set of wheel bearings on every car I've had for more than 100K miles regardless of whether they were stock. Although, my S2000 required 3 rear replacements (2 passenger, 1 driver) in the 72K I had it (and tracked it).

Everything else is tight, even at 144k. Ball joints, bushings, front wheel bearings, tie rod and rack ends all feel just as tight as they did new. My car has not been tracked extensively though. That's why I was so surprised the rear wheel bearings were loose. Everything else is still tight.

Just installed new custom made hub/wheel-centric spacers, 12mm front and 17mm rear. I am starting to hear negative feedback on spacers wearing out the bearings and such. Also that they are unsafe. I also have extend studs(ARP). I am starting to worry about warrenty/safety issuses if something drastic happens. I am thinking about going back to stock, yet I don't want to. Any one have any different feedback on spacers?
