[QUOTE=GlobeCLK;2551530]Sup guys,

Rear. As you can see, the paint is matte black. I needed clear to go over the stickers, so didn't want TOO MUCH shine.

Quick question for you guys,
when painting the calipers, do you guys put primer on the calipers before the paint or just straight up paint?

Why not paint the hubs while you had the wheels off ???

I never thought about painting the rotor hubs. Maybe next time when I get new rotors.

No primer but I did sand the calipers down before I painted.

Out of curiousity, why did you sand them down?

Thanks for sharing. I am about to order the exact same kit, but Home Depot does have some high-temp paint spray. How long did it take you totally?

Good question. I wanted to get the grime off the calipers and make them smooth so the paint would look more even and would attach better.

I've painted my calipers on my old GS 400 without sanding and now on the 430 sanding and I recommended sanding them down first.

What grit would you recommend? My calipers are a silver/green color and look kind of nasty. This would be a cheap and easy mod to do.

I am one of the few here, but I love the 98-00 tail lights.

Great job on the brakes.
