I am curious did you say you bleed the brakes, if so I never have had to bleed brakes on any car when I was just replacing the pads .
thats said looks super simple 10 lug nuts two pins clamp the brake pads to open them upo so that easier to get old out new in ? I never looked at how simple it was, I thought it would be the old standard of having to pull the brake calipers and then go from there

FWIW: Dot 4 absorb moisture quicker. It should be done every 2 years. Synthetics may be longer...

Last little bit - Do your brake fluid changes during low humidity days to reduce moisture being trapped in the system and degrading the fluid. Using fluid from an open container is BAD as it has been absorbing moisture from the day it was opened and should be disposed of. New unopened container only!
