What kind of struts you running ? And does the car drag with passengers in the back ? I like the drop the df's give but don't want to be scraping like crazy Not decided yet on which of the two to get
DAMN EVERYONE HERE HAS 18+ INCH WHEELS THAT GIVE THE ILLUSION OF THE CAR BEING LOWER HOW ABOUT FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT BIG BALLERS LIKE ME... I AM PLANNING TO KEEP MY STOCK 17'S BUT WANT TO LOWER THE CAR... I HAVE NARROWED IT DOWN TO THE TEIN S TECH OR THE TANABE DF210 ...ANYONE WITH PICS OF THEIR CAR SITTING ON 17'S WITH TEIN S TECH OR TANABE DF210 PLEASE POST !!!!!
Here you go, a before/after pic. Stock 17" wheels. I'm lowered on Tein S-Techs. I am very pleased with the ride quality. They're progressive springs so you don't lose to much on comfort.
The reference for my springs are SKT76-AVB00 (-40mm/-20mm). In the US, you guys get SKY98-AUB00 (-40mm allround).
I heard that " coil overs " were noisy. Is this true? I remember when I had hydros on my truck and the spring I used would make noise when it was slammed. I'm thinking of getting coils but I don't want a noisy Lexus. Pls help
I don't think that is true. You are talking about coilover setups, right? Plenty of people here have them (Megan, BC, etc) and you rarely hear them complain about noise (except for the occasional squeak here and there, but you can have those with lowering springs too).
heres mine.. JIC coilovers, work schwert SC1 19x9 19x10 w/ mac blick lip kit
Gorgeous rims. Meh on the lip kit. Totally ghetto "slammed" "dropped" "whatever" look that is. The top of the rubber should have space between the top of the wheel well.
I can take a pic of mine with S-tech springs w/ KYB shocks, but currently my car is sitting on the stock 16s. My stocks 17s are being powdercoated at the moment...
edit: if he still needs it (just saw the date of the post)
