Brake dust TSB for is250 owners (TSB now released, attached) merged threads

I called the dealer and mentioned about this TSIB on the front brake pads. They had no idea what I was talking about.
Is there any fact of this TSIB that I can prove to them so that they can replace my pads as I'm so tired of having gunmetal looking wheels in the front and silver wheels in the rear. Thank you

I found the link to download the document on this Forum (maybe earlier in this thread.)
I wasn't sure the TSIB would apply in Canada but I mentioned it to the salesman. They are doing it right up front during the PDI before we take delivery of the '08 (hopefully later today.)

Does Anyone Have The Tsib For The Tire Sensors? I Just Made An Appt. To Have My Front Brakes Done And Asked The Gentleman To Verify That They Had The Proper Parts In Stock. I Was Told That They Do Not Have Anything In Stock And Everything Has To Be Ordered, What A Service Dept. With No Parts. He Said I Had To Make Two Appts. Isn't That Stupid. I Am Going To Call The Parts The Morning That I Have To Take It In To See If They Have The Parts For Purchase And If They Are There, Everything Will Be Done That Day. Has Anybody Else Heard Of Such Madness. Has Anybody Has The Tsib For The Airbags Done?

My wife called the dealership where she bought her '07 250 to ask about this TSB. They told her they can do it, but warned the new brake pads squeak much more than the original ones. He added that most owners choose to decline the new brake pads because they'd rather deal with the brake dust than the squeaks.
Is this guy lying to her? Based on many replies in this thread, the new brake pads seem to IMPROVE the squeaks, not make them worse. Has anyone had bad experiences with the new pads?

Was anyone told to glaze the brakes after the TSIB was done? Or does the dealer take care of this? Apparently this is how you get the brakes to heat up and mold to the rotors?

My friend said that she was told that these replacement brakes contained asbestos in it from the Lexus dealership and that they advised her against doing the TSB for this reason.
Can anyone confirm this??? Do the replacement pads contain asbestos?

But if they do, I plan to ask Lexus for a new car and house.
