I am not use about the TSB. I just asked my Service Adviser if there was anything that could be done about the dust. He said no problem but the new pads might provide less braking and may be noisier. No noise, maybe a little difference in braking and very little dust.

I've complained about the brakes three times since I bought the car in December. Once on the survey and two times in the dealership. The last time they told me there wasn't even another option for the IS250 because there isn't another type of brake pad that fits. I hate being lied to just because I'm a girl. The brakes are so touchy - my fiance says he feels like he's learning to drive all over again when driving my car. Maybe the performance brake pads should be an 'option' - then they won't receive so many complaints.

Wouldn't it be funny if they changed the pad compound but didn't change the part number so all you guys who wanted free pads will not get them, but when you get your pads replaced, you get the new reduced dust compound?

FWIW, there is no TSB today. I just checked TIS.
