Default Wheel spacer & Safety???

I'd like to achieve more aggressive stance by using 15mm H&R spacers (longer studs & fender roll)...
My main concern is safety, my SC is back in the shop for more power upgrades and the total output will be close to 400 rwhp....
I don't autocross nor drifting but I do drive aggressive time to time and I want to make sure I'll be safe...
What do you guys think??? I did search but the answer wasn't clear...

Thanks in advance...

Probably isn't the safest idea... if possible I'd go with wider wheels (or go a lower offset) to get the stance you want than mess around with the studs shearing etc.

You are absolutely right but do not want to fork out another $3k on wheels I already have 3 sets of 3 piece JDM wheels 19x8.5 & 19x10 with conservative offsets...

I wouldnt recommend spacers. Some tire shops wont even work on your car if they see wheel spacers. The only ones that might be ok are the ones that bolt on. But like the others said, I'd rather just stick to getting wider wheels with a nice offset.

i would think unless ur spacers were hubcentric to both the hub and the wheels... so you would need to measure the bore of the center of the wheel... might be a bit safer... but would agree jspecsc3, bolt on hubcentric spacers are alot safer...but before you get bolt ons, make sure ur wheels have a recessed space for the bolts. mine didnt on my mr2 wheels i bought

Fair enough. There was something I saw on the net long time ago of a UCF20 Celsior getting some type of spacer fitted with the longer studs etc etc. You could try a company like Kics or something I guess if you wanna keep your wheels just make sure they're hubcentric as everyone's mentioning.

I know that over here (Oz) a lot of places don't recommend spacers, and if they do they say not to go over 5mm but that's a bit of useless info for today
