Default Brake Problem....

WHen im driving my car at mostly low speeds around 15-30...i hear like a rattling squeeky noise kinda like a old chair squeeking but squeeking really fast...when i barely press on the brakes like JUST barely before they even begin to make contact with the metal, it slows down a bit then when i press the brakes in more it stops...idk if something is looks or broken...anyone had this before? srry bad explanation...this only happens when moving btw.

On my first SC I had a wheel bearing go bad and it really sounded like crap. I thought it was the brakes till I replaced em and the sound still haunted me.

Might be worth looking into?

GL my friend!

You've done a pretty good job describing the front brake pad wear indicator as it begins to make contact with the rotor.

It's a thin piece of metal that is designed to give an audible just as you've stated and it means you are on your last fraction of brake pad.

The brake pad indicator sound should only be heard when you are braking. Since you hear this sound when you are not braking, it could be something else. Maybe signs of a seizing caliper?
