Am i over paying for my brakes
Ok.. the pads (all around) and the rear rotors are going out.. And will need to be replaced in the next 5,000 miles or so. I dont have the time to DIY so im having a shop do it for me. For parts labor and system flush they gave me an estimate of about $500(494.67 to be exact). A buddy of mine said that i was going to over pay horribly by not doing it my self. But as i said i dont have the time. So what im asking is, is $500 for pads(all) rotors(rear) and system flush a good deal?
Thanks

for that price i can upgrade to LS front calipers, slotted rotors front and back with new pads... do ur own work. would u rather spend half a weeks pay check paying for it to get done... or spend an hour or 2 doing it urself... easy choice for me...

if he buys LS calipers and rotors up front he'll also have to buy new wheels to be able to clear them.
