Has anyone used Just Brakes??
I know, I know, I shouldn't even be thinking about taking my 01 GS430 for replacement brakes to anywhere other than a dealership (which is crazy) or a certified Lexus repair shop, but has anyone used Just Brakes?? I hear their commercials all the time, but for $100 for all 4 wheels replaced seems real cheap. Also, I was noticing some issues with them from former customers.
Let me know your thoughts. Maybe someone has used them with no problems. But, right now, I am probably going to go back to the certified Lexus shop where I had previous service done with no issues.
Thanks...

Is there something wrong with the brakes or simply worn pads?
Most of the shops are too agressive and do much more than just put the new pads.
I have no experience with Just Brakes.

Basically, the Lexus shop told me the pads are worn and of course, the roter's need to be re-surfaced, otherwise, that's the only problems. And this is just on the back, but I figured to get all 4 done.

If pads are worn and caught in time, they do not need the rotors to be turned. If you are not getting pulsation sensation when you brake, and there are no pits/grooves on both sides of the rotors ... do not trun the rotors.
Since I check and repalce my pads before they cause damage, I have never had the need to turn the rotors. It takes me more time to jack all ends and remove the wheels and reinstall them, then to replace the pads.

bingo i agree, i took the 528i i use to have in once and they "forgot" to tighten down the bolts on my front driver side wheel after i had my rotors turned, i ended up having to replace all the studs, and they refused to accept the blame i could have gotten lawyers involved and such but its was a lot easier to just replace the studs and call it done.

Just Brakes are Crooks. They use the $99 to get you in the door. Then they tell you need to have your calipers rebuilt which is bs, they use cheap brake pads. They dont put all the parts back on. Dont let anyone you like use Just Brakes.
