Hello everyone,
I have a 98 Gs400 with Tein HA and 20" Rezax riding on Pirelli PZero tires. On certain pavements on the freeway I hear this noise that is coming from my left front suspension. I think the PZero tires are relatively quite tires and have brought my car to Lexus to check out this on and off howling/humming noise. The technician mentioned that nothing could be found that causes this noise except maybe the lower control brace because it is hollow and maybe somehow could be the problem. Has anyone noticed any noise of this type coming from their car? Your feedback is much appreciated. Thanks.

Did you have the tech ride over the same types of pavement?? The fact that it only happens on certain types of pavement suggests (to me) that it's the PZeros since no tread pattern can be very quiet on ALL highway surfaces. Get someone else to drive and you ride passenger; if it seems to come from right front, then almost certainly is the tires just being noisy in certain circumstances. Esp. if you can hear pitch change with varying speed.
