BG racing Coilover installed...initial set up and reviews.
hello everyone, just got these installed on the IS250 RWD with factory sport suspension. it has a 30 way adjustable damper. lowered ride height are 3/4 of an inch from front and rear at 1.5 inch. the car will be corner balanced in a week or two and i'll post final ride height after.
Special thanks to Marc at GT Spec.

Initial ride height were as follows:
before:
L/F @ 26.0 in. R/F @ 26 1/4 in.
L/R @ 27 1/4 in. R/R @ 27 1/4 in.
after:
L/F @ 25 1/4 R/F @ 25 1/4
L/R @ 25 3/4 R/R @ 25 3/4
these reading were taken on an alignment rack with all even tire pressures and measured from floor to fenders edge. gas level at 1/8 of a tank. i did not measure from center hub to fender. there're simply way too many factors that can throw this off, i used the alignment rack because its probably the most level surface i can find. also the ride height will always be changing on this car to fit my driving preference so use this as a reference only.
with the damper set in the middle position 15 its no more stiff than the factory suspension. once turned up a few level towards hard setting, rear that is, the car definally rotates alot more but its still manageable with throttle to correct it. so far the rear only has been set to 25 and front at 23 and its quite good for autox with my Advan A048's. in a week a two i'll have the car corner balanced and i'll post up more pics and final ride height.
