Those are the spring rates. The higher the rate, the stiffer the ride will be, but the lower you can drop the ride height without bottoming out the suspension. Depending on preference and driving style, sometimes you may want stiffer front springs than rears, or vice versa.

What are the best coilovers for the IS350 to retain the stock ride and perhaps improve handling performance. My goal is to retain the stock ride and lower the car.

Tein CS are the softest from what I have heard.

i think the GB on the Tein CS are over no? if it isnt you just type in the group buy code on the right side of your screen where your shopping cart is.

I came home to find my Teins on my doorstep. I am getting them put on Saturday. I will post pics of my car then because I will have new wheels too.

i chose the zeals function xs over the teins cs.
i was able to choose my own spring rates with the zeals

Im a happy camper and will post pics once i receive the zeal coils
