Best bet is to find a friend or family member that knows how to do it. Doing brakes is extremely easy and it should not cost that much.

I just recently did the brakes on my SC.

Dealership: $570+tax (Approx. $617.03)

DIY: >$120

Your choice!

I can do it for <$120. I'm just messing with ya. BTW I can't help, but stare at your sig.

Anyways before you start the brake job, remember to take off the cap to your brake fluid reservoir so that it will be easier to push the caliper pistons in if necessary.

i went to my buddy at tires plus and he did if for $100. front brake job, with the better quality pads etc.
lexus wanted $279.
my rotors were warped and glossy

next step, i am going to get rid of these 18 inch sc430 rims and get regular 16 inch oem chrome rims and tires

I was never a fan of sc430 rims on an SC3/400. Another alternative is to use Supra NA wheels as they are staggered and are fairly cheap. They are
F:16x8 and R:16x9 with +50 offset all around.

i actually like the sc430 rims better on an sc400. especially pearl white. i like them better if they were chrome too. but the ride with the low profile tires is too noisy and i feel the road more than i want to.

I'd rather the dealer do my work. It pays in the end.
