How so? The balance comes from the relative cross-sectioanal area of the pistons not the number of pistons. Besides, the stock brakes for the 350 are 4 piston front and 1 piston rear. I think the stock brakes for the 250 are 1 piston front, and 1 piston rear.

please explain further. cross-sectional area of the pistons? i thought it was the number of pistons

While an interesting discussion seem to be developing its rather a mute point, with a buy in of just under 7k just for the parts, i dont see any real return if your keeping your car on the street, soloII/autocross maybe but if im going that route i'd rather install a 2nd masterbrake cyl. first to truly balance the brakes then think about a bbk if needed.

I'll just buy a red caliper paint kit from autozone

Honestly, I think stock brakes with the "right" pads would be MUCH better for autocrossing than any BBK. Autocross courses aren't long enough to warrant the larger wheels, extra weight and warm up time that BBK's require.
