Installed Tom's 6 Link and rear brace - now somethings creeking in the rear - HELP!
I had the Tom's 6 Link and the rear brace installed about 2 weeks ago. (And yes the handling has improved greatly!) Everything was great for about 5 days and then this rear creeking noise started.
I get the rear creeking noise on any body shift load such as accelerating from a stop, turning, or going over speed bumps. I did not have the creeking before the braces were installed.
I have Daizen sway bars and Bilstein PSS coils.
Anyone know what this could be or have had a similar problem? I'm thinking it could be ...
1. the braces loosened up and need to be retightened (but in only 5 days?)
2. the daizen sway bar bushings?
3. tie rod ends?
4. the stiffer rear chassis has found some weak part somewhere?
Please post with any solutions to getting rid of this annoying creeking or what it could be. I've done a search and have not found anything related to the Tom's braces and the beginning of a creek. Thanks!

i have the same from time to time .. make sure the hinged links are not too tight maybe around 3olbs of trq and the main subframe 19mm nut is trq to 80 ft lbs outside of that creaks from time to time will still be there , remember you have created a rear end that now is desned to almost move as one whereas oem design had flex intended

Thanks for the post - on the hinged links are you saying 30 lbs on the bolt that bolts to the body one each one? And the main subframe bolt - which one is that?
Time to time would be okay - I'm getting the creeking every time I acclerate, stop, turn etc... And it seems like it's progressively getting worse - more creek, longer creek etc...

Lex,
I had my mechanic tighten up the bolts to the specs you gave above - and a week latter all is quiet! I guess they settle a bit after being installed initially and need to be retightened.
I don't know what specs they were torqued to initially - they used whatever Tom's had in the instructions I'm guessing (my mechanic is from Japan and can read the language).
Thanks again Lex!

Just you guys know - the creaking and noises I was getting was really bad. It wasn't a little noise here and there. Just driving the car and accelerating would cause it - it was constant. After tighening up the bolts I've had no creeks or noise of any kind.
