Default Tanabe strut bar fitment?

I searched tanabes website and came up empty handed. Searched this site and came up empty as well. Has anyone tried one of these yet. I always hear about fitment issues. And don't really feel like grinding anything down to fit. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Tanabe doesn't make a Strut Tower Bar for any SC. That's a quote directly from the Tanabe representative here at ClubLexus.

I have a JIC strut bar for the JZA80 chassis and it looks somewhat similar. You can install it by using 2 strut tower spacers on each side, but you would need longer strut tower bolts. Another method w/o spacers is to remove this bracket that holds a couple of lines and a sensor I believe. The bracket is right underneath the strut bar when you try to install it. I never installed the strut bar because when I tried to remove that bracket, which is held down by a couple of philips screws, the screws were too tight and they started to strip.
