Question Tein SS vS CS ::: How Low can you go:::

Hey all...

I have the Tien CS damper and was expecting to be able to slam (lower than 3’’) the front.

However, from the looks of things I can only drop the front about 2.5 inches.

I was wondering if any one knows the specifics, as to how much more the Super Sport version (as opposed to the CS version), allows one to drop the ride height in front.

Thanks!!!!!!!

How much further can the SS go beyond the CS, in terms of lowering?

How often do you bottom out your dampers? Did you go with higher spring rates?

when you say "bottom out" do you mean the top cap making contact with the top of the shock body? if yes then I don't think it ever bottomed out. (and I would know how it would sound like because my corolla with gc bottoms out like hell). I cranked it to the stiffest settings 16 and the springs are intended for the is350 and we've got the 250 model.

So basically I just bought tein ss for an is350 and slapped them on to the 250.

t0e measurements are 21 and 3/4 of an inch (front) and 21 and 1/2 inch (rear) from the bottom of the fender well to the bottom of the rim.

dammmm. that is all i have to say. i wouldnt even be able to make it out of my driveway like that. plus i didnt want it too low because i was planning on getting a lip kit /w sideskirts. that should also be thought of.

just a tip paul. i know you wanted a lip kit. SEIBON or INGS+1 would not fit in my opinion. esp. as low as that.
