Thumbs up Tein Strut Tower Bars Review

So I was out to see what I wanted to buy for strut towers. I currently have the Tein CS and also just picked the Tein’s EDFC. So sticking to a theme of Tein, I bought there front and rear strut tower bars. My first thoughts when opening the box and looking at them were “these things are huge!” I know the Aristo is a large car but I have never seen such large strut tower bars. None the less, they seem to be of good quality and at a price of around $100 per bar, best $ for $. Installation was about a half an hour. In the front, the engine cover did need to be removed for clearance issues. In the rear two small cuts were needed in the liner. The true only issue I had was in the rear. Due to the space, it was hard to tighten the last nuts/allens on top of the bar. I look forward to finishing the suspension with the TRD sways and shooting some videos in the canyons. Next week I hope to finish my HKS Carbon Ti 3 ½ piping single sided with the Japanese backing light on the other side in preparation for my HKS 2jz-gte. Over all, if your looking for strut tower bars, this is a positive buy. Happy Tuning!

Where does one pick up a Veilside hood? And what material are the Tein bars made from - steel or aluminum?

Thumbs up

Those bars look sturdy. In some other pictures no justice is done to them because they look alot smaller than they really are. Your engine bay pic is the best because it really shows how beefy this stb is.

No, I'm not talking about your pics. I am talking about the pics I have seen on other websites that have them for sale. The pics they have make the stb look like they are as thick as a toothpick Your pics are good because they show exactly how thick the stb really is. Not dissing your pics at all

Ahhhh I know, they tend to only show the ends of the bars or “not actual photo” and its for a civic or something. Even I had no idea it was this big!

You should spend some scratch on the stereo. Or at least never show anyone that pic ever again.

At least get some zip ties.

i've been thinking about this mod for a while now, i know that carson sells them and for the money it takes to do it, its a good bang for your buck plus its an easy DIY.
